Tramway Grubbs Notch

At 8:30pm we received a call from two hikers that had gotten lost and disoriented approximately 600ft below the top of Grubbs Notch. They were only 40ft from the trail but could not find it and ended up on very steep dirt/rock slopes. They did not feel safe and called 911. As the first team members reached the tram the Riverside Sheriff’s Aviation Unit was able to hoist both subjects off the mountain safely. We all drove back home.
