More PCT Hikers Apache Peak

The team was called out for a rescue of two PCT (Pacific Crest Trail through hikers) on Apache Peak. this is our second call to this same area in the last 2 days. It seems that one female hiker was stuck in an ice section and her partner has slipped over the side and fallen about 60 feet.
They were both from France. More RMRU members were in route to the mission. Blake, Tyler, and I arrived at the Lake Hemet Sheriff’s substation where we found that Cal Fire had airlifted 2 fire fighters into the area. They were able to get the two PCT Hikers out and flew them both back to the station. Other RMRU members were sent text to return home.
