This was a request for two RMRU members to respond to call, which would include myself and Donny. We were asked to be placed on stand-by at Suicide Rock (located near the town of Idyllwild) in case our services were required. This was in a response to a person in despair, with the intent of hurting themselves.

Thankfully, this person had a change of heart and decided to turn back and head downhill. How-ever during the hike out, the person became lost. Since Sheriff’s Deputies arrived on scene quickly, they proceeded to hike up the hill to meet with the person and hike back down and off the mountain to safety.
