Our subject had gotten off trail around the 7,500-foot level and took a fall. Another hiker heard her calling for help and called 911. When RMRU members got to the subject after the 911 call the subject was deceased. Members stayed with the subject overnight, while other team members hiked the other hiker up to the Tramway to spend the night.

In the morning under direction of the Riverside Coroner the body was recovered and taken down the Tramway. We extend our thoughts and prayers to the subject’s family.
