Overdue PCT Hiker

At approximately 1330 hours on we received a call for a solo southbound PCT Hiker. The hiker was supposed to contact their spouse at Warner Spring (In San Diego County) the night before. No contact was made, and we were asked to search for this hiker.
The last known point was about 3 miles north of the county line. We prepared our team to go to that location and hike south while coordinating with San Diego Mountain Rescue to prepare resources to search from their side. RSO Aviation Rescue 9 Helicopter was also on their way to search from above.
Prior to arriving at the starting location, we received word that the missing hiker had made it to Warner Springs safely but later than planned.
