Body Recovery

Our team was contacted by the Sheriff at approximately 7:30 PM to assist them with the recovery of a deceased individual from Reche Canyon. Eric, Shani, Blake, James, Cameron and I arrived on the scene and Vinay brought the truck from Hemet station. Since we were told it was very steep, we took pickets and ropes in case we needed to lower the litter. We hiked along a trail and up a steep hill where we then quickly located the subject and put them into the litter.

Thankfully, while we were up there, we found a less-steep route and did not need to establish an anchor in order to extract the subject. The team returned to base and then we headed home. A few homeowners were kind enough to allow us to park on their property and the Sheriff helped us out by providing an ATV to carry our heavy gear.
