On the Evening of the December the 6th David’s dog Ginger was found in town. The Idyllwild community came together and conducted a searched on the 7th but unfortunately no further sign of David was found.

On Dec 8th approximately 30 people from RSO Mounted Posse, DSSAR, Riverside County Search Dogs, RSO Deputies, and RMRU would search for any other signs. Through multiple clue finds, David was found deceased, high up on the mountainside later that afternoon. While this kind of result was expected, it was hard for all those involved, but we were glad that we could bring closure to David’s family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all his friends and family.

RMRU Members Involved: Corey Ellison, Eric Holden, Kaitlyn Purington, Shani Pynn, Alex Rilloraza, Tyler Shumway, and Raymond Weden.
