I was currently converting my new Van to a #Vanlife when we got a callout for two missing hikers in Mission Creek near Desert Hot Springs. With the weather being 110degrees and thunderstorms, I knew it was going to be a good one. Got my camelback filled with ice and started towards the CP. About 45 minutes later the subjects both had hiked back to the road and contacted a random passerby, safe but hot. We all turned around to get ready for tomorrow’s mission at the Nixon Fire.
