At 1am on Friday morning we got a call out to respond to a small community north of the Salton Sea for a search. Initially I was the only RMRU member that could make it. I picked up the com van and drove out there to run the IC for the other teams. While in-route I found out fellow RMRU member Matt Frenken was also on his way. Once on scene I began setting up the SERT command center to begin mapping and assignments. About 30 minutes later Riverside Aviation located the subject deceased. Our thoughts go out to her friends and family.
