Our team was called out to aid in the search of a missing male on the morning of March 3.
It was reported by a roommate that the male was planning on riding his bicycle to a rural area known as Badlands located west of Beaumont. The friend became concerned when the male didn’t return home, and reported it the authorities.

Prior to our team’s arrival, Riverside Sheriff’s ROVE team, Sheriff’s Aviation, and Riverside County Search Dogs team had scoured the area in attempt it locating the missing male. During their search, they located various personal items, which were confirmed to belong to him.

When we arrived, we would quickly join up with our sister team, Desert Search & Rescue. Together we would break up in several smaller teams with specific search assignments, and would initially focus on areas closer to where the personal belongings were located.
