What should I do if I see a bear or mountain lion?

What you should do if you see a bear or mountain lion:
1) Face the animal, don't stare into the eyes, and walk backwards slowly.
2) Speak to the animal in a calming monotone voice.
3) Do not wave you arms or yell, especially if you are close and have surprised it.
